The work The Spartans by Edgar Degas (1860inspired me to make this work.
My eye fell on the interaction between the girls as they look at the group of boys. I have presented this in a free, playful way.
The watercolor is framed without a passepartout. A frame prevents the watercolor from pressing against the glass. Dimensions: W50 x H40 x D3.5.
